APPROVAL OF EXPULSION CASE NO. 14-251
Description
The student listed in Expulsion Case No. 14-251, is in violation of an accepted settlement agreement for Alternative School Placement. On January 31, 2014 the student listed in Expulsion Case No. 14-251 violated School Board Policy 5.32 Drug Possession. It is the recommendation of the Superintendent, that the student be expelled from the Sarasota County Schools until January 9, 2015.
Recommendation
That in accordance with provisions of Sections 1006.07(1)(a)(b), Florida Statutes and School Board Policy 5.32, the holding of a hearing having been waived by the student/parent, the recommendation as specified in Expulsion Case No. 14-251, to expel the student referenced therein from the Sarasota County Schools, be approved effective immediately until January 9, 2015 of the 2014-2015 academic year.
